Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a family-owned insurance brokerage and risk management agency to help them find a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Tampa, FL.
Position Summary: The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for providing proactive client service and account management for commercial property and casualty accounts. This role will work closely with Producers, clients, and insurance carriers to deliver exceptional service and ensure accounts are accurately maintained and renewed.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day contact for assigned commercial clients, delivering consistent, high-quality service.
- Partner with Producers to manage client accounts and support new business efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
- Prepare and oversee renewals, including gathering exposure information, submissions, proposals, and coverage analyses.
- Conduct policy reviews for accuracy and request corrections as needed.
- Manage service items such as endorsements, invoicing, certificates, audits, and policy changes.
- Track policy expirations and maintain open-item/action reports to ensure client renewals are handled timely and accurately.
- Serve as an advocate for clients in dealings with carriers and underwriters.
- Apply insurance market and product knowledge to identify client solutions and mitigate risk exposures.
- Support workflow improvements and adhere to agency best practices.
Qualifications
- 220 Florida General Lines P&C License required
- AMS360 experience required
- Minimum of 3+ years managing mid-to-large Commercial P&C accounts
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial coverages and markets
- Excellent communication skills and client-focused service
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Bachelors degree but not required
