Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team and support a leading manufacturer’s representative in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This role is responsible for performing factory startups, warranty work, and service on a wide range of HVAC equipment. In our fast-paced and evolving industry, you will face new challenges daily while making a direct impact on customer satisfaction and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform factory startups and warranty services on equipment such as Makeup Air Units, Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems, Humidifiers, Dehumidifiers, Exhaust Fans, and more.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical wiring.
• Respond to emergency service calls, quickly troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
• Provide technical support and communicate HVAC system issues to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, materials used, and issues encountered.
• Ensure all work complies with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a focus on commercial systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel to customer job sites.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Knowledge of current safety regulations; EPA and HVAC certifications .
