Competitive Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $40–$44 per hour ($83,200–$91,520 annually, based on a 40-hour workweek)
- On-Call Compensation: $150 for scheduled on-call duties
- Paid Time Off: 48 hours to start, increasing to 168 hours with tenure

Your Role: Delivering Excellence
As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you’ll provide top-tier service to commercial clients in Philadelphia, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Equipped with a fully stocked service van, iPad, iPhone, and PPE, you’ll work with a supportive team of dispatchers, coordinators, and supervisors. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts for commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machines
- Installing and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and ice machines with precision
- Troubleshooting and assessing commercial HVAC systems to determine required repairs
- Performing preventative maintenance and recommending proactive repairs to minimize downtime
- Responding promptly to emergency service requests with professionalism
- Providing facility condition assessments and contributing to facility-related projects
- Adhering to safety policies, environmental, health, security, and fire protection standards
- Completing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent customer service
This field-based role is primarily in Philadelphia, with occasional travel for training or meetings.
What We’re Looking For Qualifications
- Experience: 3–6 years of demonstrated expertise in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Certifications: EPA Certification required
- Physical Requirements:
- Climb ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks
- Meet enhanced security clearance requirements
- Flexibility for overtime and occasional travel for training or regional support
Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in servicing, installing, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC systems and ice machines
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and recommend preventative repairs
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Capability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with light commercial equipment
- Experience with industry software ( but not required)
