Commercial HVAC/R Technician

Location: South Philadelphia (Candidates must reside within 40 miles)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40+ hours/week, early morning to mid-afternoon, rotational on-call (1 week per month)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. This is a hands-on position for a skilled technician who can troubleshoot independently and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC/R systems.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

• Maintain accurate service records and parts usage documentation.

Background

• Minimum of 3 years of experience troubleshooting & repairing commercial refrigeration equipment (split systems, rooftop units, walk-in coolers & freezers, rack refrigeration systems).

• Previous experience as an HVAC/R Technician, Commercial Refrigeration Technician, or Commercial HVAC Technician.

• Certifications: EPA Universal required; OSHA .

• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

• Background check and drug test required (including marijuana—medical card required if positive).
