Talent Corps is currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer to start ASAP!

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with duct fabrication, welding, and installation in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires the ability to work with a variety of duct types, including square duct, round duct, and fabric air socks, ensuring proper fit, function, and code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and secure square duct, round duct, and fabric air socks in commercial projects.
• Perform duct welding and sheet metal fabrication to specifications.
• Measure, cut, and fit duct systems according to blueprints, shop drawings, and building codes.
• Install hangers, supports, and insulation for duct systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct quality checks to confirm airtight seals, correct alignment, and compliance with mechanical standards.
• Operate tools and equipment safely, including welders, shears, brakes, and power tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with duct layouts, airflow, or installation challenges.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on the job site.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC or duct installation experience.
• Proficient in duct welding and sheet metal installation.
• Skilled in working with square duct, round duct, and fabric air socks.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with SMACNA standards and local mechanical codes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, bending, and working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills:

• Certification in HVAC or sheet metal installation.
• OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
