About the Role:
We are actively in search of a seasoned Commercial HVAC Design Estimator with 5 to 10 years of experience with estimation in the HVAC Trade for Commercial New Construction and Renovation, who is adept at analyzing blueprints, specifications, and quotes to prepare an all-inclusive and accurate bid to join our corporate team based out of Lititz, PA. This position would be responsible for estimating and (where required) generating HVAC designs, load and duct calculations, and specifying mechanical equipment and systems for commercial, industrial, and multi-unit MEP design/build and plan/spec projects. This position reports to the Estimating Manager.
What You Will Do:
- Estimating of MEP systems on projects best suited for the growth and culture of Haller Enterprises, Inc.
- Prepare the most cost-effective conceptual designs on design/build projects that will meet the expectations of the clients and the constraints of the budgets.
- Sketching of designs to forward to BIM/CAD operators to draft or 3D model. Careful review and co-development of design documents for execution at the design development, permitting, construction, and record stages.
- Prepare written proposals and effectively communicate the proposal and scope of work to the customer.
- Negotiation and continuous follow up with clients on proposals submitted.
- Meet with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers and other project stakeholders as required for execution of project.
- Interact with counterparts to achieve individual division goals, as well as the overall success and profitability of the company.
- Work with other estimators to share resources (site visits, GC relationships, bid calendar updates)

What We Need From You:
Required:
- 5-10 years HVAC trade design and estimating experience
- Experience in understanding project blueprints, design drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time/cost/equipment/labor/material estimates for projects and services. Ability to visualize and execute on value-engineering of design.
- Valid Driver's License required to operate company or personal vehicle for company business.
- Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Bluebeam or Autodesk products is a plus.
- Experience with Trimble Estimation is a plus.
- Experience with mechanical, plumbing and gas specification, calculations and sizing.
- Knowledge of general construction practices.
- Knowledge of the International mechanical Code, International Building Code, and other codes relevant to HVAC and mechanical design.
