Seeking a construction superintendent that possesses the versatility to manage all aspects of a construction site from start to finish. Successful candidates will have the and capacity to work with subcontractors to deliver high quality construction projects on time and on budget in a fast pace environment.

Our construction project team works together with architects, engineers, construction project managers, and subcontractors to deliver a wide array of high quality commercial construction projects. The Construction Superintendent handles all aspects of on-site project duties, procedures and functions, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Communicate with project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.
• Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work and maintaining a safe and clean project site.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
• Maintain daily log (written) of job site activities.
• Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work with subcontractors.
• Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.
• Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
• Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in the construction industry and knowledge of construction building methods and practices.
• Provide direction to and resolve problems amongst various subcontractors and vendors.
• Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
• Blueprint reading.
• Physically lift up to 100 lbs.
• Endurance and ability to visit entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures. Monitoring jobsite general health and safety.
