Commercial Gas Engineer



Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum + Company Van + Overtime + Benefits

Location: North West (covering multiple sites)

Employment Type: Permanent



About the Role



We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building services and facilities maintenance contractor on a permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance across a variety of commercial properties – including secure and live environments such as prisons, so professionalism and reliability are essential.



This is a mobile role, working on a portfolio of public and private sector sites across the region.



Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on commercial heating and hot water systems.

Undertake PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.

Work safely and efficiently in live environments (e.g., prisons, offices, and public buildings).

Complete compliance documentation and ensure work is carried out to current gas regulations.



*



Participate in a call-out rota and overtime when required.



Requirements



*



Current Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 / CODNCO1) and relevant elements (e.g., CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1).

Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer in a maintenance or FM environment.



*



Valid UK driving licence.



*



Ability to pass security clearance / background checks (essential due to site type).
