Job DescriptionCommercial Gas Engineer Location: Ipswich based office / sites across London & South East Salary: £48,000 - £54,000 DOE - Travel time paid OTE £70k+ Hours: Monday-Friday (phone number removed) Call out rota Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time A well-established building services contractor is looking to expand its project team with experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to work across major private and public sector projects. The business has grown into a contractor over the last 10 years with a high volume of engineers on the road daily, offering services across the mechanical and electrical sector. What You'll Be Doing * Carry out commercial gas and heating works across major private and public sector projects * Diagnose faults and take a practical, problem-solving approach to challenging jobs * Complete commercial gas activities both autonomously and as part of a project team * Work on commercial plumbing and heating systems * Read and interpret technical diagrams and project documentation * Organise and prioritise workload to meet project deadlines * Maintain strong customer service and communication throughout projects * Travel to various sites and stay away when required, with appropriate notice What We're Looking For * 2–3+ years' experience working on commercial heating systems * Current NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbing or heating * Current Domestic & Commercial Gas qualifications – refresher training can be provided * Enhanced DBS clearance or ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check * Full clean manual UK driving licence – confidential discussions regarding points * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proactive and committed approach to Health & Safety Desirable * IPAF / PASMA * CSCS Card * Current F-Gas qualification What’s on Offer * Overtime available – OTE £70,000+ * Door-to-door pay * 22 days holiday + bank holidays + long service leave * Company van and fuel card * Company pension scheme * Private health insurance, including 24/7 online GP service * Discretionary company bonus scheme * Training and development opportunities * Long-term work with a growing contractor * Collaborative team environment * Company social events Apply now or get in touch for further information about this exciting opportunity
