Commercial Gas Engineer

A well-established and reputable commercial and industrial heating contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join its expanding team in the North West. The company provides a full range of mechanical services — from planned and reactive maintenance to refurbishments and new installations — primarily within the commercial and retail sectors.



Key Responsibilities



* Attend and diagnose faults on gas-fired appliances and associated plant within commercial and retail premises.



* Carry out repairs and maintenance on heating systems and ancillary equipment.



* Conduct planned servicing of gas appliances and perform gas testing.



* Complete all relevant gas safety and compliance documentation accurately and on time.



Requirements



* Minimum 5 years’ experience working with commercial gas heating systems.



* Commercial ACS certification (essential).



* Full UK driving licence (essential).



* Experience with oil-fired equipment (advantageous).



* Additional trade-related qualifications (IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, etc.) are beneficial.



* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.



* Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
