Location: South East England (Mobile Role)\nSalary: £48,000 - £54,000 per annum\nContract Type: Full-time, Permanent\nHours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week + On-call rota (1 in 6)\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our clients growing team, covering the South East England region. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to work with a well-established facilities management company, providing planned and reactive maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties including office buildings, healthcare facilities, educational establishments, and retail premises.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas heating systems and boilers\n\n * Service and repair commercial gas appliances including indirect fired heating systems, overhead radiant heaters, and water heaters\n\n * Conduct reactive callouts, diagnose faults, and perform emergency repairs\n\n * Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines\n\n * Conduct commercial gas safety checks and provide certification\n\n * Maintain accurate records and complete job documentation using handheld devices\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * Gas Safe Registration with current ACS qualifications\n\n * Commercial gas certifications\n\n * Valid UK driving licence (Category B minimum)\n\n * Minimum 3-5 year’s experience in commercial gas engineering\n\n * Proven track record in commercial boiler servicing, breakdown repairs, and installations\n\n * Experience working in commercial premises.\n\n * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\nSkills:\n\n * Excellent customer service and communication skills\n\n * Ability to work independently and manage own workload\n\n * Competent in using modern technology including tablets and smartphones\n\n * Strong health and safety awareness\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * Base Salary: £48,000 - £54,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\n\n * Overtime opportunities with enhanced rates\n\n * On-call allowance: £100 standby retainer plus call-out payments\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Company van with fuel card (private use option available)\n\n * Door-to-door travel time paid\n\n * 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays\n\n * Company pension scheme\n\n * Life assurance cover\n\n * Mobile phone and tablet provided\n\n * Uniform, PPE, and tools supplied\n\n * Professional development opportunities and ongoing training\n\nApply today for more information
