Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer\nLocation: Field-based - NG Postcode\nSalary: up to £46,000\nCall Out: 1 in 6, £120 retainer , minimum 4h pay.\n\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, covering a range of commercial properties across the NG Postcode. This is a mobile role with a focus on maintenance, repair, and compliance across client sites.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on commercial gas systems and associated equipment.\n\n * Complete all necessary paperwork and digital reports accurately and on time.\n\n * Conduct fabric maintenance and basic electrical tasks as required under contract.\n\n * Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislative standards and health & safety regulations.\n\n * Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 6) to provide out-of-hours support to clients.\n\n * Support colleagues when required and assist with supervision of sub-contractors, ensuring high standards of work and safety compliance.\n\n * Identify and communicate remedial work requirements and assist in quoting and sourcing information for additional works.\n\n * Issue Permits to Work and manage escort duties and small works where necessary.\n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\n * Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in a relevant discipline.\n\n * Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance, testing, and fault finding, including work on boiler plant, pumps, ventilation, and control systems.\n\n * Competence in basic electrical and general building services tasks.\n\n * Strong understanding of health & safety practices and safe systems of work.\n\n * Ability to work independently, use handheld technology effectively, and manage time efficiently across multiple sites.\n\nContact Jacob from HVAC for more info
