Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Commercial Estimator to provide accurate, timely cost estimates for commercial construction projects in the Cedar Valley area. This candidate will prepare cost estimates to aid management in bidding or determining the price of a construction project using historical company data and current market pricing. What you will do:

• Generate accurate and timely estimates
• Identify bid opportunities and maintain the bidding backlog
• Update costing models when required and maintain data integrity
• Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material, pricing the labor, equipment, and material costs

What you will need to be successful:

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is , but not required
• 3-5 years of related experience in commercial estimating
• Previous experience with HVAC, plumbing, heating, and cooling projects 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints
• Superior communication skills
• Impressive organizational skills
