Notes: The Commercial (Kitchen) Equipment Maintenance/Refrigeration Manager position is done for the purpose of coordinating the departmental safety program, budget management, departmental supervision and completing the repair, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and preventative/planned maintenance of district mechanical equipment including commercial coolers and freezers, dishwashers and commercial food equipment in the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience
- 5 years’ experience in low temp refrigeration repair or completion of an approved trade school or apprenticeship program and 3 years working experience in job related functions
- Experience in refrigeration components, controls and operations including commercial grade reach in and walk-in types
- EPA Recognized Applicable Refrigerant Recovery License
- WA State Low Voltage and/or Pneumatic Controls Training/Certification
Clearance
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
