Are you a Qualified Electrician looking for a new challenge?\nWe are currently seeking 2 Qualified Electricians for an Electrical Testing/PPM and Remedial Works and a Commercial Testing Role around Greater London.\nBenefits Include:\n * An OTE of £40- £43k+ (depending on role, location and experience) basic salary will be up to £34-36.5k\n * Guaranteed £250 pm bonus for the first 3 months whilst establishing our processes and complete training\n * 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays (Long Service rewards of extra holidays)\n * Benefits pack including pension and rewards schemes, discount shopping, childcare vouchers and more\n * Van and fuel provided (for work use only)\n * Smartphone & Tablet, test equipment, uniform, and PPE provided\n * Ongoing training and progression\nOur client is leading the way in lighting maintenance, LED installation and electrical compliance testing. They service over 10,000 sites for more than 80 clients across many sectors, including the largest Retail Groups in the UK. Using their own directly employed engineers covering all areas of mainland UK and Northern Ireland, they regularly and proactively visit sites to resolve lighting needs and to ensure that our clients meet all compliance obligations.\nThe role is mobile (transport provided) and is covering a geographic area with all clients within the area (Greater London).\nMon to Fri hours, but flexible with working overtime and weekends if needed, there will also be elements of working away.\nAbout the role:\n * Retail, industrial and commercial work, carrying out compliance visits and completing remedial works to NICEIC standards\n * Emergency light testing, Fire alarm testing, PAT testing, Fire extinguisher servicing\n * Fixed Wire Testing\n * Lighting maintenance and occasional project work\n * PPM maintenance\n * Reporting directly to the Head Office, liaise with clients on site (customer focused)\n * Manage your own geographical area and organising of jobs\n * Company bonus scheme (based on your performance etc)\n * Good work-life balance, can be flexible to an extent\n * Career development training and promotion opportunities are available\nAbout the person:\n * Fully Qualified Electrician- with 2365 with NVQ 3 or 236 parts 1 and 2 for example, and 17th or 18th Edition (any other direct equivalents to the same level will be acceptable)\n * 2391 or direct equivalents to the same level\n * Full UK driving license (maximum of 6 points)\n * PPM maintenance experience\n * IT literate and able to use a Smartphone/Tablet for communication and reporting\n * Must be able to carry and use steps/ladders enabling short duration work at height\n * Commercial Testing experience\n * Smart and professional, with customer facing skills\nPersonality characteristics:\n * Outgoing and personable, able to build and retain strong client and staff relationships\n * Work efficiently and on your own or as part of a team\n * Ability to maintain high standards and follow quality control processes\n * Proactive and confident attitude\n * Flexible with working overtime and weekends if needed\nThese are permanent positions with ongoing training and progression opportunities available.\nIf this role sounds like it could be of interest, then please apply today for a confidential chat.\nEstablished in 1994, G&P Quality Management is a world-leading provider of quality management services to the manufacturing industry, primarily in the automotive, aerospace and off-highway sectors.
