We are working with a leading business in the Telesales world based in Birmingham who are currently seeking an ambitious Commercial Director to take ownership of functions across Sales, Account Management and Marketing. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity, reporting directly into the CEO, with responsibility for driving sustainable revenue growth in a telesales-led B2B environment. This position is ideal for a strategic but hands-on commercial leader who thrives on building high-performing sales teams, improving customer value and identifying key roots to market with new products.\n \nRole: Commercial Director\nSalary: up to £130,000 (depending on experience) per annum + bonuses + benefits \nLocation: Birmingham \n \nKey Responsibilities for Commercial Director \n\nDefine and execute the commercial growth strategy across telesales, account management, and marketing.\nDrive telesales productivity — optimising lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and deal efficiency.\nLead and mentor sales leadership, ensuring consistent execution and coaching across the team.\nMaximise customer retention, lifetime value, and profitability through upsell and renewal strategies.\nBuild brand awareness and market positioning to support long-term revenue growth & ensuring marketing campaigns directly support lead and commercial objectives.\nImplement scalable processes and platforms to support efficiency and growth.\nLead the forecasting and budgeting process for sales and marketing functions.\nDevelop go-to-market strategies for new products and growth opportunities.\nEnsure launches are backed with commercially viable sales plans. \n \nKey Requirements of the Commercial Director \n\nTangible and long track record of success as commercial/sales director in a telesales-based B2B environment.\nProven experience unifying sales, account management, and marketing under a single growth strategy.\nIndustry background in B2B services, SaaS, utilities, or financial services advantageous.\nStrong track record in scaling teams, improving customer retention, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.\nDeep understanding of telesales-driven growth models and sales management best practice.\nExperienced leader with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing teams. \nThis is a fantastic opportunity to help a well established telesales business develop and grow further.
