Commercial Construction Project Superintendent (Houston TX)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Established, Successful, Commercial and Retail General Contractor seeking a Project Superintendent. The Project Superintendent will manage the day to day operations of the job site on $2,000,000 - $6,000,000 commercial and retail construction projects. This is a full-time position and incudes project bonuses, 401K and auto allowance. Successful candidate will be expected to travel to out of town projects (Houston) when the need arises and will be paid per diem. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct safety audits and maintain a safe and clean jobsite.
· Arrive before tradesmen and leave after the workday.
· Schedule all activities typical to commercial construction from sitework to turnover.
· Ensure quality installations and adherence to plans and specifications.
· Prepare daily photo emails and weekly progress reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Ability to put the needs of the customer first.
· Ability to travel to sites throughout Texas.
· Professional written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to work both independently and with a team.
· 5+ years' experience as a construction superintendent.
· OSHA 10-hour certificate
· Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year.
