Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent preferably with deep expertise in food and beverage construction to lead restaurant and commercial kitchen projects. This role is critical in ensuring projects meet the unique demands of food service environments—including health department compliance, commercial kitchen systems, and aggressive timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site operations for ground up and tenant improvements.
- Oversee daily construction activities, subcontractors, and material deliveries to maintain aggressive project schedules.
- Ensure strict adherence to food-service specific requirements, including grease traps, HVAC exhaust systems, plumbing for equipment, refrigeration lines, and health department regulations.
- Coordinate and manage inspections with health departments, building departments, and third-party agencies.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality control, and cleanliness on site.
- Foster strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Conduct regular OAC meetings and provide detailed daily reports.
- Generate 3 week look ahead schedules.
- Mentor, lead on-site team members and skilled labor.
- Deliver projects that exceed client expectations for quality and functionality.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7+ years as a Site Superintendent or Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Strong preference for candidates with 4+ years of direct experience on restaurant / food & beverage projects.
- Proven track record delivering multiple restaurant projects successfully.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment installation, MEP coordination, and food-service build-outs.
- Strong safety leadership.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Location: Primarily Southern California with occasional projects in Western states. Travel may be necessary
