• Commercial trade contractor looking for General Superintendent to help lead its operations.
• Will direct trade specific superintendents
• Will direct trade field foremen
• Will direct metal fabrication teams
• Will lead safety effort
• Will monitor, perform, and ensure quality control
• Will coordinate with crews, foremen, project managers, superintendents and clients
• Will report to senior vice president
• Will be responsible for production and overall success of field operations
• Will troubleshoot problems and issues on projects
• Will schedule manpower to accomplish workload
• Will also perform these duties with subcontractor partners

Job Requirements

• The General Superintendent is a key employee in the organization who must have 6+ years experience in commercial construction. Ideally, the Superintendent will have experience as both a field foreman and a superintendent.
• You should have a comprehensive knowledge of all facets of commercial construction and how the different trades interface with each other.
• You should be a hard worker and dedicated
• You should be able to lead multiple crews
• You should be able to mentor foremen and superintendents
• You should be able to take responsibility for all projects to be on time and on budget
• You should have people skills that allow you to work successfully with crews, peers, supervisors, and clients
• You should be detail oriented with ability to consistently produce a complete quality product
