Job Title: Commercial Construction Laborer
Location: Greeneville, TN
Reports To: Site Superintendent / Foreman
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Commercial Construction Laborer to assist with various tasks on active job sites. This role involves physical labor, use of hand and power tools, site cleanup, material handling, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction site labor including material handling, debris removal, and basic installations

• Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as directed

• Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on-site

• Operate basic hand and power tools (hammer, saw, drill, etc.)

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety guidelines

• Erect and disassemble temporary structures like scaffolding, barricades, and ladders

• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and prepare job sites for new construction

• Support in demolition and renovation activities

• Follow directions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members

• Report any safety concerns or equipment issues promptly

Requirements:

• Previous construction experience (commercial/industrial experience is a plus)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions

• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety protocols

• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to job sites

• Willingness to travel to different job locations if needed

• OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude

• Pre-Employment Background check and Drug Screening are required

Work Environment:

• Work is performed on active construction sites and may include exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures, and heights.

• Must be comfortable wearing required PPE including hard hats, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, etc.
