Summary:
The Commercial Cleaning Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing cleaning operations across multiple commercial buildings. This includes overseeing cleaning crews, coordinating schedules, maintaining quality standards, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. The PM ensures all cleaning services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements and company standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Crew Management: Supervise and coordinate cleaning teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
Training & Development: Provide onboarding and ongoing training to cleaning staff on procedures, safety practices, and equipment
use.
Quality Assurance: Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleaning services meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
Job Estimation: Evaluate site requirements and prepare accurate job estimates, including labor, materials, and timeframes.
Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and resolving issues
promptly.
Inventory Control: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintaining stock levels.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in job files, including estimates, schedules, reports, and communications.
Safety: Enforce compliance with safety policies and standards; promote a culture of safety among all team members.
Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in commercial or industrial cleaning
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to assess project needs and produce reliable estimates
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Organized and detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
Proficient with basic computer systems
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Hours may include occasional evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate customer needs. Travel is primarily local.
