Job Description

As a Commercial Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for the precise installation of commercial doors, frames, hardware, and Division 10 materials such as toilet partitions, accessories, lockers, fire extinguishers, and visual display boards. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial wood and hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware per specifications

• Perform Division 10 installations: toilet partitions, bathroom accessories, lockers, signage, fire extinguisher cabinets, and more

• Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings

• Ensure all work meets project specifications, safety guidelines, and quality standards

• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience with a focus on doors, frames, and hardware

• Proven experience installing Division 10 products

• Ability to read blueprints, hardware schedules, and shop drawings

• Strong understanding of commercial construction safety protocols

• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in various site conditions

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus
