Welder / Fabricator (Code Welding)

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to perform high-quality code and non-code welds in a manufacturing environment. Must follow approved WPS, meet strict quality standards (including 100% NDT), and maintain a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Perform GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding per WPS
• Complete code and non-code welds, including projects requiring 100% NDT
• Cut, fit, fabricate, and repair materials using oxy-fuel, plasma, saws, mag drills, and grinders
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Prepare, assemble, tack, and weld components
• Operate shop tools and forklift safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements:

• Code welding experience (ASME VIII/IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions
• Basic math skills related to welding
• Team-oriented with a strong safety focus

Weld Tests Required:

• 3G Vertical – GMAW (3⁄4" plate)
• 4G Overhead – GMAW (3⁄4" plate)
