About ReVora

ReVora is the first German company developing dual innovation in food infrastructure for Earth and space. We design advanced modular hydroponic systems for healthier food, resilient cities, and long-term space applications.

After bootstrapping, completing our MVP, and taking first steps into the market, we are now entering the next growth phase.

ReVora is not a VC-driven startup. Our go-to-market–first strategy ensures scalability with or without external capital. We are building with intention, resilience, and ambition — setting the bar high for impact on Earth and beyond.

The Role

As Co- founde you will take full ownership of the technical direction, R&D, and hardware scale-up of ReVora. You will work alongside the founder to shape both the daily execution and the long-term strategy toward a global and potentially unicorn-scale venture.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead R&D for hydroponics and controlled-environment systems (lighting, climate, fertigation, automation, sensors).
• Drive the evolution from MVP → pilots → scalable systems.
• Build, motivate, and lead a technical team.
• Define and execute a scaling plan toward unicorn potential.
• Ensure product compliance, certifications, and reliability.
• Collaborate with research partners (Fraunhofer, DLR, IGZ, Jülich) and industry stakeholders.
• Co-shape the company vision, strategy, and culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical expertise in hydroponics, vertical farming, agricultural or systems engineering, automation, or space systems.
• Founding experience or proven track record in scaling AgTech, FoodTech, or deep sustainability tech.
• Extensive startup experience, ideally including scaling toward unicorn-level growth.
• Ability to combine visionary, future-oriented thinking with hands-on execution.
• A personality that values integrity, humility, and collaboration — able to separate ego from mission.
• Self-motivated and comfortable both in daily building tasks and in setting the bar to the Moon and Mars.
• Based in Germany, preferably NRW / Ruhr region.
