The CNC Programming Manufacturing Engineer I focuses on developing CNC programs and manufacturing engineering solutions that drive production performance. This role manages multiple projects and requires an understanding of how process, tooling, design, and programming decisions impact overall operations.
Direct Hire Position! $65,000-75,000 Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and maintain CNC programs for efficient shop floor operations
- Apply engineering solutions to improve machining processes, tooling selection, cycle times, and product flow
- Analyze production challenges and recommend process improvements
- Update CNC programs, routings, drawings, and databases to current revisions
- Set up, program, and maintain advanced CNC manufacturing equipment
- Program high‐precision equipment based on part design, tolerances, and specifications
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, GD&T, and technical documentation
- Evaluate designs and suggest design‐for‐manufacturability improvements
- Document inspection methods, programming standards, and process procedures
- Provide quotes for new and existing machine products, including tooling and gauging requirements
- Maintain DCA information and system files for the Machine Shop and Foundry
- Develop CAD/CAM models using CREO and Mastercam
- Collaborate with customer and internal engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing challenges
- Train shop personnel on new equipment, programs, and manufacturing standards
- Communicate project status and recommend cost‐saving and productivity improvements
- Coordinate priorities with production, quality, and operations teams
- Maintain compliance with all safety policies and regulations
- Support production supervisors and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficient in editing, interpreting, and programming G‐code
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing engineering principles
- Experience analyzing technical data for tooling, speeds, feeds, and tolerances
- Solid understanding of technical drawings and design principles
- Strong problem‐solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficient with PC applications, including spreadsheets and data analysis tools
Education and Experience
Required:
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field

- Mastercam experience
- CREO modeling experience
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazak controls
- PLC or automation experience
