Relocate to join our dynamic team in Britton, SD, as a CNC Programmer (Milling Process Tech)! We are looking for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision machining and thrives in a collaborative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. Responsibilities

Quote new parts from customer prints by determining material requirements and accurately assessing feeds, speeds, cycle times, tooling and fixturing requirements

Develop and optimize CNC milling programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.

Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place.

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.

Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.

Maintain accurate records of production runs, tooling changes, and maintenance activities.

Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming .
- 3-5 years experience as a CNC programmer, specifically with milling processes.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming .
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (GibbsCam ) and CNC machine setup.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
