AppleTree Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Indianapolis! This role is responsible for performing basic to intermediate maintenance and repair work on production and facility equipment, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual grinders, saws, and other precision machining equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues involving motors, drives, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and control panels.
• Calibrate and align machine components to maintain tight tolerances required for tungsten and specialty metal machining operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities in accordance with ISO and company quality standards.
• Replace worn tooling, bearings, seals, and spindles to maintain machine accuracy and extend service life.
• Collaborate with machinists and production leads to identify equipment inefficiencies and implement performance improvements.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Assist in machine installations, setup, and alignment of new CNC and manual equipment.
• Utilize precision measurement tools (dial indicators, calipers, micrometers) to verify proper alignment and mechanical functionality.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards while performing lockout/tagout, electrical isolation, and other maintenance safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

• Basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair skills.

• Machine maintenance experience or relevant technical certifications.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Associate degree in a technical field or relevant maintenance certifications.
