The ideal candidate will be a precision-driven, safety-conscious professional who thrives in a high-standards environment and possesses the technical problem-solving skills to minimize downtime and maintain flawless quality.\n\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n * Setup & Run: Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, and milling.\n\n * Technical Reading: Interpret blueprints, design models, and engineering drawings.\n\n * Process Control: Load materials and adjust machine settings (speeds, feeds, cut paths) for optimal output.\n\n * Quality & Inspection: Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools; maintain quality records.\n\n * Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions.\n\n * Safety & Housekeeping: Strictly follow H&S rules, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:\n\n * Experience: Proven track record as a CNC Machine Setter/Operator.\n\n * Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments (callipers, micrometres).\n\n * Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and adjust machine offsets.\n\n * Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy with a strong focus on quality control and tolerances.\n\n * Safety-First Mindset: Unwavering commitment to PPE compliance and workplace safety protocols.\n\n * Collaborative: Good communication skills to work effectively with team leaders and maintenance specialists.\n\nDetails of Package:\n\n39 Hour week £32,000 to £33,500 Per Year (£17.26 to £18.00 Per Hour) Rates include Shift Allowance.
