Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a precision manufacturing company specializing in cutting tools and related products. Our team values craftsmanship, innovation, and attention to detail. We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator with strong AutoCAD drafting experience who will also take responsibility for preparing and servicing tools.

Responsibilities

• CNC Machining
• Set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision components
• Interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and technical drawings
• Select tooling, set offsets, and verify part programs prior to production
• Troubleshoot and adjust machining processes to maintain tight tolerances
• AutoCAD Drafting
• Create and revise 2D AutoCAD drawings for parts, fixtures, and tooling
• Collaborate with engineering to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings
• Ensure drawings meet specifications and industry standards
• Tool Preparation & Service
• Clean, inspect, and prep service tools to company standards
• Perform brazing of tools as part of maintenance and repair
• Inspect tools for wear/damage and ensure they are ready for customer use

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating 5-axis CNC machines
• Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD drafting experience
• Experience with tool servicing (cleaning, inspection, brazing)
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, GD&T, and blueprint reading
• Familiarity with G & M code and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience

Expected hours: 40 per week
