MACHINE OPERATOR
\nExperienced CNC Set-Up Technician
\nLocation:

- Temporary: 741 Winston St., West Chicago, IL\n\t
- Permanent: 2501 Sanders Road, Northbrook, IL (relocating Summer 2026)\n
\nShifts & Pay: 1st shift and 2nd shift and 3rd
\nPay depends on experience\n\nAre you passionate about precision CNC machining and ready to take on complex, high-mix, low-volume challenges?

\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\n
- \n\t
- Set up HAAS 3/4-axis CNC mills, manage rotary tables, fixtures, and precise offsets\n\t
- Install, align, and indicate 4-axis rotary tables, tailstocks, and tombstones for flawless results\n\t
- Load, verify, and tweak multi-axis CNC programs for top performance\n\t
- Tackle first-article inspections, perform real-time adjustments, and troubleshoot 4-axis issues like a pro\n\t
- Optimize processes to streamline set-ups and maximize productivity\n\t
- Collaborate with engineers on fixtures, tooling, and process improvements\n\t
- Support high-mix, low-volume production with expert changeover abilities\n\t
- Share your knowledge: train and mentor CNC operators in safe, advanced multi-axis machining\n
\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n\n
- \n\t
- 5+ years of CNC machining and HAAS set-up experience—especially on 4-axis machines\n\t
- Advanced skills operating HAAS rotary tables and managing complex fixturing\n\t
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation (position, profile, concentricity, runout)\n\t
- Proficiency in G-code (A-axis, tool planes, program prove-out)\n\t
- Hands-on ability with inspection and precision measurement for multi-axis work\n
