Basic Function:
Perform machine and job setup for provided work orders.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pull correct blank parts from inventory locations according to the work order.
2. Identify and pull the correct tooling for the job according to the work order.
3. Identify and load the correct part program into the machine according to the work order.
4. Perform job operations to the provided work order and part print.
5. Perform miscellaneous work as instructed.
6. It is the employee’s responsibility to check parts for quality and specifications according to job documentation.
- Keep accurate part counts and complete cycle time sheets.
- Follow Safety Rules as they apply to jobs and work areas.
- Follow Company Rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Maintain and keep the area clean and perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Must have CNC experience with Fanuc controls and some knowledge of reading CNC Programs.
- Computer experience required.
- Cut and paste editing will be done at the controls
- The ability on a computer to run machine communication programs that network the CNC machines
- Must have the ability to run CNC Drill and Tap Centers with some knowledge of cutting speeds and feeds.
- Must have the ability to read all work order instructions and prints.
- Must have the ability to use measuring instruments, micrometers, calipers, and test indicators.
- Prior work-related experience in manufacturing or machining.
Shift: 2nd (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $22-$30 (based on experience)
