CNC Machine Operator
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts

Overview
Allied OneSource is seeking skilled and dependable CNC Machine Operators for placement with one of our valued manufacturing clients. This position is ideal for individuals who have mechanical aptitude, attention to precision, and experience working with computer numerical control (CNC) machinery in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines according to production specifications.
- Load raw materials and remove finished parts while ensuring accurate counts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and setup sheets.
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine machine offsets, tool changes, and basic program adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions or deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain production documentation, including job travelers and inspection logs.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and quality targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment .
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with basic machine setup, offsets, and tool changes.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving ability.
- Reliable and safety-oriented with good communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced CNC machining and production setting.
- Exposure to machinery noise, lubricants, and metal materials.
- Must follow PPE and all company safety requirements.
- Work may involve repetitive tasks and occasional lifting.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Overtime or weekend hours may be required based on production needs
