CNC Operator Job Description

Overview
Lone Star Racing is a lead manufacturer in ATV and UTV suspension and chassis components. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining processes and be proficient in operating various CNC machine mills and lathes. This role involves setting up, and running CNC equipment to produce high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they are properly calibrated for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions, tolerances, and angles.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure timely production and quality control.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.

Skills

• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and designs.
• Knowledge of machining processes and materials handling techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

2nd shift schedule is typically Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:45am.
