Position Description

Machinery Systems, Inc., a 48-year Mazak distributor, is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician. Operating from their residence, the field service technician will primarily travel to customer locations throughout Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan with occasional travel throughout the Midwest. The Field Service Technician's primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical aspects of a wide range of Mazak standard machine tool products.

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years in a machine tool repair position with an end user, distributor or builder of CNC machine tools or similar is .

· Requires strong problem solving skills with excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical areas of repair of CNC machine tools.

· Must be a self starter and be highly motivated

· Must possess strong customer service , be flexible to adjust to customer demands and have effective communication skills

· Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of PLC’s is desirable.

· Must hold and maintain an unrestricted driver’s license
