A great opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company as a CMM Operator and Quality Inspector.
The advertised rates are PAYE hourly values. Weekly pay.
Position summary:
The role is full time position working within the manufacturing team. The applicant must be a good team player and have excellent time management skills to enable them to manage their own workload within a high demand environment.
Flexibility is essential to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities:
Key Skills:
• Loading CMM with manufactured parts
• Running CMM
• Prepping units for inspection
• End of line inspection of product
• Good mobility due to physical demands of the job
• Be able to use computer system, word excel and Carrier websites
• Must be an organised and able to work under pressure
• Must be able to manage changing priorities
• Be a team player but also able to work on own initiative
• Good attention to detail, understand the need to check and over check work
• Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers and transport carriers
• Must be flexible and dependable and prepared to work shifts as required
• Operators will be expected to work overtime at short notice to meet customer demand and to provide cover for Friday afternoons.
• Operators may be expected to move between departments within same shift.
• Operators will be expected to work shifts when required (am/pm).
• Any other duties as required
Requirements:
• Education – No formal qualification required but would expect an excellent level of English & Maths.
• Industry Experience – Previous experience of the Logistics process would be advantageous.
Full time. Hours – Initially: Monday to Thursday: 7:45 am – 4:30 pm, Friday: 7:30am – 13:00 pm however the role will most likely move onto a split rotating shift of earlies and lates, so having access to transport which can get you to the site for a 6am start is critical.
