This position is responsible to set up and operate equipment/machines used to fabricate and weld components made from steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and to assure that the parts are being produced to the drawing specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Blueprint reading and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• Sets-up and operate fabricating machines such as cold saw, Bridgeport mill, Shear, brake press and welders.
• De-burr, weld, grind and finish with hand tools or power driven equipment
• Verifies conformance of finished work piece to customer specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 3 years’ experience, Alloy experience a plus
• Blueprint reading
• Operating basic metrology instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometers. )
• Basic math skills
