CloudOps/SysOps Engineer - Remote

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Cloud Operations:

• Manage and monitor Azure infrastructure including VMs VNets load balancers Azure AD and storage accounts.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using ARM templates Bicep or Terraform.
• Administer Azure Backup Azure Site Recovery and cost management tools.
• Support Azure DevOps pipelines and assist with CI/CD implementations.
• Configure and monitor Azure Security Center Defender for Cloud and compliance policies.

On-Premises System Operations:

• Maintain Windows and/or Linux servers Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policies.
• Manage virtualization environments (e.g. Hyper-V or VMware).
• Support on-prem backup solutions patching and routine maintenance tasks.

Job Description:

CloudOps / SysOps Engineer (Azure & On-Prem)

- Troubleshoot hardware storage and network issues as needed.

General Responsibilities:

• Automate routine system tasks using PowerShell Bash or Python.
• Ensure proper monitoring and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor SCOM or third-party platforms.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning testing and execution.
• Respond to incidents root cause analysis and documentation of operational procedures.
• Collaborate with development security and support teams to ensure smooth deployments and secure environments.
