Job Title: Cloud Engineer Role Summary

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing building and maintaining secure scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and cloud-native practices to support reliable deployments optimize costs and enhance system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices and security standards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/CloudFormation to automate deployments.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable releases.
• Ensure high availability backup and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with DevOps security and application teams to improve system performance and governance.

Key Skills

• AWS services (EC2 VPC IAM EKS Lambda S3 RDS)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation)
• Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization
• Scripting (Python Bash) and automation tools (Ansible)
• DevOps and Agile methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on AWS experience
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (mandatory)
