The Expert Cloud Architect at Mission Intelligence Group is a pivotal technical leader driving the cloud strategy for the Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role requires an individual who can oversee the planning, design, and implementation of secure and scalable cloud architectures that align with mission objectives. Responsibilities include leading organizational change to promote successful cloud adoption and ensuring thorough analyses of cloud service alternatives to optimize NGA's operational capabilities.

The Expert Cloud Architect will architect integrated solutions that meet operational and security requirements while developing enterprise strategies for cloud migration and optimization. Additionally, this role involves providing technical direction and mentorship to a diverse team of Cloud Architects, ensuring adherence to NGA standards and best practices. Required Skills and Experience:

• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information
  Systems, or related STEM degree program.
• 18 years of experience in cloud-based systems architecting is required and may be considered in lieu of degree
• Expert experience in cloud-based systems architecting.
• One or more Cloud Certifications:
  • Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified
  • Cisco Certified Networking Administrator – Cloud
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional – Cloud
  • IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect
  • MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP7-CMA)
  • Experience with NGA

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous working experience in government or industry, within Cloud Architect profession.
• Experience architecting solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data., Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence
  technologies.
• Experience architecting solutions using Model Based Systems Engineering.
