Clinical Research Coordinator Associate - Stanford University

The Division of Vascular Surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator Associate to join our dynamic research team. This is a full-time, temporary, hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site each week, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking studies in a collaborative environment.

Position Overview:
The Clinical Research Coordinator Associate will be responsible for supporting multiple clinical research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating effective study conduct. The role involves participant recruitment, data collection, coordination of study visits, and assisting with study startup and closeout procedures.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, temporary position with the potential to become permanent
  • Hybrid work model with at least 3 days on-site at Stanford University
  • Located on Stanford’s campus with some remote work flexibility
  • Pay range: $32 - $36 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend study procedures and oversee participant visits
  • Assist in participant recruitment and enrollment
  • Manage and maintain accurate study documentation
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure on-time study progress
  • Support study startup and closeout activities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • A 2-year college degree plus 2 years of related work experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in clinical research
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
