About Shields at Home
Shields at Home is reimagining healthcare by delivering high-quality hospital-level care to
patients in their own homes. Our team of clinicians and healthcare professionals is passionate
about improving patient outcomes while reducing the need for traditional hospital stays.
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible team member to support the logistics and operations
of our Hospital at Home program. The ideal candidate will have a clinical certification (CNA,
PCT, EMT, or similar) and be excited to work in both clinical and non-clinical capacities. This is a
hands-on role in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
 Support daily operations of the Hospital at Home program
 Gather data to support and/or improve daily operations
 Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and operations team
 Coordinate supplies, medication deliveries, and patient transportation
 Assist clinical team with logistics/coordination to complete care plan
 Interact with patients in the home setting as appropriate
 Reminding patients to take their medications but not administering them. 
 Deliver/pickup medications or medical equipment as needed
 Engage with patients at discharge to perform satisfaction survey
 Assist with onboarding new patients and setting up in-home care
 Document activities accurately and follow standard protocols
 Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare
team. 
 Learn and contribute across multiple areas of the business
 Adhering to facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety
protocols.
Qualifications
 Active CNA, PCT, EMT, or equivalent clinical certification required
 Strong organizational and multitasking skills
 Comfortable using technology (EMRs, scheduling tools, Excel, etc.)
 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
 Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
 Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing needs
 A "go-getter" mindset - eager to grow and take initiative
 Qualifications
 Previous experience in a hospital, clinical, or home health setting
 Interest in healthcare operations or logistics
 Familiarity with remote care models or home-based services

 Compensation based on experience
