About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory tests on human specimens.
- Operate and troubleshoot lab instruments while adhering to quality control procedures.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Work Schedule
Your work hours will be 12 AM - 8:30 AM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 17% shift differential for third shift.

Casual, PRN, and Part-Time employees working less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan.
Your Responsibilities
- Assess the acceptability of specimens for testing.
- Perform technical procedures according to departmental SOPs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation.
- Make informed technical decisions regarding testing.
- Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Report accurate test results to ensure quality patient care.
- Document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Maintain testing bench supplies and assist with specimen processing as needed.
- Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
- Florida State Medical Technologist (MT) license is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience with human specimens, or an MLS degree.
- ASCP, AMT, or ABB certification is .
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
