3x 12-hour shifts: Sunday-Tuesday 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; rotating Wednesdays 6:45 PM - 12:30 AM.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will:

  • Evaluate the acceptability of specimens for testing based on established criteria.
  • Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Make informed technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
  • Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
  • Manage testing bench supplies and assist with specimen processing as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a relevant field meeting local regulatory requirements.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience, or an MLS degree.
  • ASCP or AMT certification is .
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
  • A keen attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to pass a standardized vision screen.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
