We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS/MLS) or Clinical Lab Technician (CLT/MLT) to join our team in Garden City, NY. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and blood banking.

• Analyze and interpret test results, providing accurate information to healthcare providers.

• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

• Prepare and process specimens for testing, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.

• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

• Participate in quality assurance activities, focusing on lab performance improvement.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care and treatment decisions.

Qualifications:

• For CLS/MLS: Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) required.

• For CLT/MLT: Certification as a Clinical Lab Technician (CLT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) required.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.

• Valid state licensure, where applicable.

• Previous laboratory experience is , but not required for entry-level candidates.

• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and safety standards.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with healthcare teams.
