Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to partner with an established high complexity toxicology and PCR laboratory in the Midwest who seeks a Senior Laboratory Sales Manager to add to their growing team!
Position overview:
The ideal candidate is responsible for all sales activities, from growing current business to targeting and securing new toxicology and molecular testing business and driving new sales growth within assigned territory. They will work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue , and long-term account goals aligned with company vision and values.

Our partner is a premier, high complexity laboratory that is fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and located in Crown Point, Indiana. Their state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with cutting-edge technology, allowing us to deliver accurate, timely, and reliable diagnostic results for providers and their patients.
Principle Duties And Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and expand strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals through effective territory management and planning.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while growing existing accounts.
- Prospect and network through cold calling, client visits, referrals, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with customer service, IT, lab operations, and leadership teams to ensure seamless onboarding and account support.
- Execute efficient pre-call planning, routing, and CRM-based pipeline management to track leads and monitor progress.
- Deliver marketing and clinical materials, communicate value propositions, and provide tailored client solutions.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans that forecast growth and market expansion.
- Manage territory expenses responsibly, adhering to company policy and seeking pre-approval for exceptions.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, and all applicable federal, state, and company regulations.
- Demonstrate strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, objection handling, and relationship building.
- Represent the company professionally with integrity, accountability, and a focus on delivering superior service.
- Participate in trade shows, events, and client education programs as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and company offerings to effectively communicate value to clients.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts from an accredited institution.
- Possess a minimum of five (5) years' experience proven success in direct sales of medical/life science products or services to physicians, physician offices/clinics, ambulatory surgery centers and/or hospitals.
- At least two (2) or more years of direct sales of Toxicology and/or PCR laboratory testing services to physicians and other health care practitioners.
- Experience with medical documentation required to support Medicare/Medicaid, Commercial Insurance and Workmen's Compensation claims for PGx and Toxicology laboratory testing is .
- Previous sales management experience a plus but not required.
Salary:
- Base Salary Range $95-120K depending on experience with estimated On-Target Earnings of $200K+ possible
