Now Hiring: Client Service/Dispatch Specialist– Appliance Service Department
Location: Farmingdale, NY
Pay: $19/hour
Shift Options: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Large Regional Retail company based in Farmingdale, NY is seeking three motivated individuals to join our Appliance Service Department in the roles of Parts Coordinator, Dispatcher, and COD/Collections Specialist. These roles are essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our appliance service operations, supporting technicians, managing part logistics, customer communications, and payment follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Parts Coordination
  • Track and manage appliance part orders
  • Expedite shipments and follow up on estimated delivery times (ETAs)
  • Communicate with vendors and manufacturers
• Dispatching
  • Route technicians efficiently within assigned territories
  • Manage daily technician schedules and call-outs
• COD / Collections
  • Accept credit card payments
  • Send reminder letters and make collection calls
  • Coordinate with external collection agencies when needed
• General Duties
  • Answer phones, emails, and Slack messages
  • Update service tickets and maintain accurate records
  • Assist customers and resolve issues professionally

Work Schedule

• Training Period: Monday through Friday (in-office)
• Post-Training:
  • Monday through Friday (in-office)
  • Every other Saturday (8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, remote)
  • One weekday off during weeks with Saturday coverage
