Clerk of Works / Quality Inspector – Edinburgh\nUp to £300 per day | 18-Month Contract\n\nExcellent opportunity for a multi-skilled Clerk of Works / Quality Inspector to oversee quality on live PBSA and apart-hotel projects in Edinburgh.\n\nThe Role\n\n * \n\n Inspect and report on construction quality and compliance\n\n * \n\n Ensure works align with drawings, specs, and building regulations\n\n * \n\n Monitor all stages: RC frame, internal partitions, fire stopping, façades, and final finishes\n\n * \n\n Support delivery through Practical Completion and Defects period\n\n * \n\n Uphold high standards, driving quality and value across all phases\n\nAbout You\n\n * \n\n Proven site inspection experience\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of home warranty provider requirements\n\n * \n\n ICWCI or MCIOB accreditation desirable\n\n * \n\n Technically proficient with excellent attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Confident communicator, both written and verbal\n\n * \n\n Skilled in snagging and quality management software\n\n * \n\n Able to work collaboratively within a professional team\n\n * \n\n Creative problem solver and adaptable multitasker\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * \n\n Up to £300 per day\n\n * \n\n Freelance, or fixed-term (18 months)\n\n * \n\n Flexible hours and site-based role\n\n * \n\n Supportive, professional team culture\n\n * \n\n Casual dress and company events\n\nApply today to play a key role in maintaining exceptional build quality on prestigious developments in Edinburgh
