Pay: $22–$25 per hour

Shift: First shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Day in the Life

As the Electrical Assembly Team Lead, you guide a cleanroom production cell focused on quality, precision, and on-time delivery. Your day blends hands-on build work with coaching and coordination:

  • Lead electrical assembly and sub-assembly of medical device components in an ISO Class 5 cleanroom; perform wiring, soldering, PCB work, PLC wiring, and electrical testing.
  • Use precision torque tools and follow detailed electrical work instructions and traveler documentation.
  • Champion ESD controls and cleanroom protocols; verify teammates’ work against quality standards and document results.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assembly builds; serve as a technical resource to resolve questions on the floor.
  • Coordinate the daily plan: prioritize tasks, assign work, and allocate resources to meet production goals.
  • Train and cross-train assemblers; guide new and ongoing projects and provide feedback to supervision on recurring performance concerns.
  • Support the Electrical Assembly Supervisor in scheduling and directing cleanroom activities.
  • Perform mechanical final assembly and subassembly operations as workflow requires.
  • Ensure adherence to MPE, Customer, ISO, and FDA policies and procedures; model correct PPE use and safety behaviors.
  • Maintain a disciplined 6S workplace and strong housekeeping standards.

Qualifications Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience and Training

  • 2+ years of electrical assembly experience; prior lead experience .
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints.
  • Skilled with hand and power tools; committed to performing required quality checks.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Regularly use hand and power tools; read blueprints; assemble very small components.
  • Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Close and vision; frequent reading; lift up to 50 lbs.
