You'll take ownership of cost control, forecasting, procurement, subcontractor management, and client liaison.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Lead commercial strategy across major civil engineering projects\n\n * \n\n Oversee cost planning, reporting, and risk management\n\n * \n\n Manage subcontractor procurement and performance\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with operational teams to drive value\n\n * \n\n Act as the commercial point of contact with clients and stakeholders\n\n * \n\n Support the development of junior QS/commercial staff\n\nAbout You:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in a commercial role within civil engineering\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (Option C )\n\n * \n\n Excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills\n\n * \n\n Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or similar\n\n * \n\n Based in or willing to travel across the Midlands region
