Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline
At least 3 years of directly related experience
Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria

Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively within a team environment

Familiarity with ACI 318/349 and AISC Steel Construction Manual
Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
Nuclear industry experience or previous Naval Nuclear program experience
Civil / structural analysis, including familiarity with software tools such as ANSYS, GT STRUDL, or SASSI
Familiarity with Seismic analyses and methods of determining seismic loading

As a Civil Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Products & Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Under broad supervision, you will perform more complex engineering assignments requiring originality, ingenuity, and the development of new methods or resolution of conflicting objectives. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $83,000 - $113,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
